I was happy to read this piece by Dennis Kucinich re: the election results in Ohio.
I loved these cartograms of America where the United States is revisioned to more accurately reflect who we are.
And I thought this piece by Hendrik Hertzberg was just beautiful. And while I'm thinking about it, a big shout out to the NewYorker for daring to write the pieces they do. I was hopeful about the New York Times recently, but last week they jumped on the "mandate" bandwagon, and I jumped off.
I realized that the links in yesterday's posts weren't working. So, I fixed them. Check them out if you have a chance. I think they're really interesting reads.
